Volunteer Opportunities
From sharing in a child's excitement about seeing Santa to helping him/her catch their first fish. From driving a celebrity to his/her next tee box to yelling out mile splits. The nature of KFK's functions provide many volunteer positions, some of which may enable you to develop a relationship with a child and others that may call upon your employment skills and/or hobby abilities.

If you are interested in getting involved with KFK and its work with area children at risk, and have the desire, time and/or talent to offer, a variety of volunteer opportunities are available to you. None of our Kid Events (Great Outdoor Adventure, Christmas Celebration, Field of Dreams and Camps) and Fundraisers (Celebrity Golf Classic and River Run) would be possible without the invaluable help provided by our volunteers. People just like you!

In order to be proactive in ensuring a safe environment for everyone associated with our charity, KFK has adopted a policy that requires a background check to be run on all of our staff and board members, and all volunteers who work directly with children at any of the Kid Events. The results from these checks are kept confidential.

Make new friends. See the "stars." And, most importantly, have a positive impact on the life of a child at risk who lives right in your own backyard!
