Kicks For Kids Training Camp Trip provided the experience of a lifetime for nearly 40 local children on Monday, August 3rd. For the first time since the trip's inception, the kids were invited onto the field following practice, and were able to speak directly to the players while getting autographs! In addition, the group traveled in a luxury bus to Georgetown, KY, and had a delicious meal close to the sidelines.

To kick off the evening, each child received a specially embroidered KFK Training Camp hat as they climbed onto the bus. Their excitement continued to grow as they watched the Bengals 2008 highlight video on the way to camp. They couldn't believe that they would soon see their favorite players in person! Once the group arrived in Georgetown, kicking legends Doug Pelfrey and Jim Breech welcomed them by giving each child an official NFL football for autographs that night. Dinner was then provided under an exclusive tent right next to the sidelines!

As the players entered the field, they walked directly by the kids. Bengals kicker, Shayne Graham, stopped to speak to the group, which the children couldn't believe! HBO was also there filming the Bengals for its Hard Knocks series, and filmed KFK's group cheering for its favorite team. Then, following practice, KFK was the only group invited onto the field where the kids got a number of autographs from various players. One child exclaimed, "This is the best day of my life!" The children's footballs were covered with signatures, leaving them with huge smiles on their faces as they departed from Georgetown that evening.
