Insight Communications is a company whose employees are "committed to the towns in which they live and work." As a result, Kicks For Kids was able to positively impact many young lives at its Christmas Celebration this past December; for, on September 20th, 2007, Insight Communications hosted its annual charity golf outing at Hickory Sticks Golf Club -- once again benefiting KFK.

For years Insight Communications has been hosting this charity golf event, with the proceeds helping local charities. Early on the raised funds were divided among several local groups. However, according to Maggie Woolf, Marketing Coordinator for Insight, the employees all agreed that "we weren't most effectively allocating our donations." Insight then began to "search for an outlet that specifically connected to the Northern Kentucky community and made sure our donation was being used to fully support a deserving cause." Based on these criteria, Insight chose KFK as the beneficiary of its annual golf fundraiser beginning in 2004.

Everyone at KFK appreciates Insight's support and sends a warm "Thanks!" to all of its employees, specifically the golf committee: Maggie Woolf, Bill Arnold, Brad Amann, Edie Jones, Pat Houp, and Ronda McQueary. As a result of their hard work, and the help of Rafferty's - Florence, JTM and McHale's Catering, Insight's 2007 golf outing generated a record $15,000 to help local children at risk! KFK truly values its relationship with Insight and its employees, and echoes the thoughts of Maggie when she says "we look forward to continuing our partnership with them."
