KFK’s Executive Director Receives Award
Covington Partners in Prevention honored Kicks For Kids’ Executive Director, Ted Kluemper, with its ‘Above and Beyond Award’ for his years of dedication to providing dynamic programs for local youth. Ted was recognized at the organization’s Annual Meeting on March 11th, held this year at Drees Pavilion in Devou Park.

Director of Covington Partners in Prevention, Stacie Strotman, highlighted Covington’s partnership with Kicks For Kids over the past four years, and how Ted’s efforts have provided its children with one-of-a kind experiences. “We understand with these lifetime memories, there are extreme costs,” Stacie noted, “Which makes it even more impressive that Ted not only manages the execution of programs but the fundraising that supports it.” He accepted his award, thanking Covington Partners in Prevention for the honor, as well as its steadfast partnership with KFK. Ted also noted what a blessing it has been to be in a position of giving back to the community where his parents were born and raised.

This is the fourth year Covington Partners in Prevention has given out the ‘Above and Beyond Award’ to deserving partners committed to helping local children.
