For many of the children who attended, it was their first chance to fish, ride a horse, and fly through the air on a zip line!

Kicks For Kids worked with Bluewater Destinations travel agency to plan a dream vacation for Gabriel and his family to the one place he has always wanted to go - Disney World!

A Scooter for Grant

As a 15-year-old boy living with an incurable muscular degenerative disease, Grant knows that he will probably never be able to drive a car. However, the closest thing for him is his 4-wheel mobility scooter that has enabled him to get around his neighborhood for the past five years, and has served as a great tool for independence. So, when KFK learned that his four wheel scooter had broken and could not be repaired, KFK stepped in and purchased a new scooter for him!

Volunteers Secure Grant from the Morgan Stanley Foundation
Morgan Stanley Smith Barney has been one of KFK's primary supporters since 1998. In the last ten years the firm has been the title sponsor of the Pairings Party Dinner, regularly participates in the Celebrity Golf Classic, and has sponsored the River Run and the Celebrity Shootout. The staff at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney also regularly volunteer for events such as the Annual Christmas Celebration. Thanks to several of these volunteers, Kicks For Kids once again received a generous grant from the Morgan Stanley Foundation this year.
KFK was the recipient of a $8,000 contribution from the Morgan Stanley Foundation's Volunteer Incentive Program. Through this community outreach program the company not only makes an impact in the communities where its employees live and work, but more importantly the company is supporting charities its employees are involved with. In order for a charity to be considered for this grant a Morgan Stanley Smith Barney employee must submit a request for funding on behalf of an organization that they have been an ongoing volunteer for at least one year.
KFK would like to thank all involved with Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, including Thomas Carns, Diana Ashton, Allison Estep, Melissa Steinkamp, Tim Dippold, Mike Quin, Ron Bass, and Michael Stacy for their continued support.
