A record 1330 runners and walkers crossed the finish line at the 13th Annual RGI River Run, presented by Duke Energy, on Saturday, May 23rd. Thanks to many exciting changes that have been implemented over the last four years, the RGI River Run is firmly among the top ten largest races in the Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati area! The event netted over $45,000, a record for the fourth consecutive year. The funds will now be directed towards a number of youth enrichment programs.

For the first time since John Calipari accepted his new head coaching position at the University of Kentucky, the men's basketball coach made a public speaking appearance in Northern Kentucky at the Meijer Pairings Party. Close to 600 people gathered on Monday, June 22nd at Receptions - South to hear Coach's perspective on rebuilding UK's basketball program, and his plans for the upcoming season. The golf outing and dinner helped raise approximately $145,000 for the charity!

In April and July, more than 60 children from across the Tri-state enjoyed a day at Great American Ball Park to watch the Reds. The kids enjoyed unlimited food and drink in a private party area on Saturday, April 25th. Another group of children attended on Sunday, July 5th, and got to experience the game from a private suite located right behind home plate!

At a time when funding continues to be cut for art programs, Kicks For Kids has placed a premium on providing kids at risk with opportunities to explore a variety of art outlets. This year's record-setting fundraisers have enabled the charity to do just that by hosting trips to the theatre, as well as providing multiple art lessons to a variety of groups.
