On Monday, December 14th, Kicks For Kids provided a Christmas experience unlike any other to fifty children from across the Tri-state. Several special guests highlighted the evening at Paul Brown Stadium, including Bengals linebacker Rey Maualuga, kicker Shayne Graham and punter, Kevin Huber.

The 50 children arrived at the party glowing with excitement and pondering what the night may entail. Little did they know all the surprises that awaited them! After reuniting with their chaperones (who they met previously at a community service project), they journeyed through the 'winter wonderland' of dazzling lights, festive decorations and famous characters – such as Rudolph, Frosty and the Grinch. Even Who Dey, the Bengals mascot, made an appearance!

Following dinner and the reading of the Christmas story, the kids were buzzing with excitement with the opportunity to meet all the special guests who attended that evening. Bengals linebacker Rey Maualuga, kicker Shayne Graham and punter, Kevin Huber spent time signing autographs and taking pictures with the kids. Former Bengals players, David Fulcher, Jim Breech and KFK's Founder, Doug Pelfrey were also there to spend time with them. Several of the Ben-Gals were also in attendance!

Each child then had the opportunity to visit the gift-bearing Santa Claus, as well as pick out gifts for their families in Santa's workshop. The next stop was the Bengals locker room. Afterwards, they headed to the visitor's locker room, where each child had his own locker that was filled with 'goodies', such as a Columbia winter coat, a personalized jersey with their name and favorite number, a Bengals Football and school supplies. The evening culminated with the children having the chance to run onto the Bengals field, where they threw passes, attempted field goals and imagined what it would be like to be a professional football player.

After the chaperones and children said their heartfelt goodbyes, one child asked on his way home, "Can we rewind tonight and do it all over again?"
